It seems unusual. Could the issue lie with the launcher itself? Are all games launched through Battle.net? Would another title work better for testing? Perhaps a fresh installation might help.
Have you attempted to reinstall them or reset the game back to its original settings? Also, does the 3070 cause crashes when using that GPU? Given the many issues reported, it’s possible a file containing your GPU data is causing problems, especially after changes.
