Recently my ps3/pc controller started showing stick drift and I found online instructions on how to clean it from the inside. I tried that, but after reassembly the buttons were registering incorrectly. For instance, the left stick was controlling the Dpad, while triggers were being registered as button a and x. I also have another controller of the same type that hasn’t been disassembled; it’s now recognized as an Xbox 360 controller by default. However, this one is being treated as a trust gamepad. I’m unsure if I made a mistake or if it’s related to software. How can I fix this?

I was attempting to calibrate it via Windows Device Manager, but that didn't really help because the instructions suggest pressing a specific button while it actually triggers another. It's strange to describe, as everything seems completely mismatched. I'm uncertain whether I'm using the correct controller for my PC and don't own any consoles.
