Hey there, faced some issues fixing my motherboard. The CMOS battery was dead, but after restarting the PC the boot disk didn’t show up properly—it was just a Samsung SATA SSD. It turned out to be a loose connection. I went through all the troubleshooting steps and can’t get it to auto-repair. The SrtTrail.txt mentioned the root cause was a corrupt boot file, and bootres.dll failed with error code 0x57. After running bootrec commands, it said access denied and no Windows installs found. The prompt showed an X but I can still access the C drive where the OS is installed. I’m trying to download a Windows flash drive to fix it without having to wipe everything over. Any suggestions? Thanks!
