The bootcamp session increased my MacBook's performance.
I own a MacBook Air from mid-2013 with standard specifications. The processor ran at 1.3GHz initially. After installing Windows via Bootcamp, CPU usage seemed excessive. Task Manager shows the CPU name as "@1.3GHz" while the base speed listed is 1.90GHz and it's turboing up to around 2.3-2.5GHz. Is this typical behavior? I haven't adjusted any settings, and the fan noise and warm exhaust suggest it's functioning normally.
This feature is typically inaccurate in Task Manager, which is why it exists.
CPUZ isn’t loading properly. The portable app version works on USB, but it only runs up to 65% before stopping. Task manager shows it’s unresponsive. HWiNFO doesn’t show any errors or warnings either. It seems the iCloud Drive database might be overloading and is causing the high CPU usage.
