I own a MacBook Air from mid-2013 with standard specifications. The processor ran at 1.3GHz initially. After installing Windows via Bootcamp, CPU usage seemed excessive. Task Manager shows the CPU name as "@1.3GHz" while the base speed listed is 1.90GHz and it's turboing up to around 2.3-2.5GHz. Is this typical behavior? I haven't adjusted any settings, and the fan noise and warm exhaust suggest it's functioning normally.

This feature is typically inaccurate in Task Manager, which is why it exists.

They didn’t expect Macs to handle that much speed. It seems Windows is managing better, showing a 4.3GHz while the system runs at 3.7GHz.
