So, I recently got an optimized version of Windows 11 that I haven't installed yet because I'm not sure how to do it. I already have a bootable USB formatted for Windows 10 installer, so should I convert the USB to a standard one before using Rufus again, or can I just use it as is?

Rufus will prepare the USB so you won't need to handle anything further.
It would be wise to retain the Win 10 USB in case you need to reinstall it once the optimized version begins causing issues.

Improved the way it was done. If it isn't from Microsoft, I wouldn't install it. You really don't know what else could be inside...
