My setup is limited to PCI-E 3.0 only, regrettably. The issue started with the first card. I just restarted the GPU, ran a quick stress test, everything looked normal before I stopped it. Unfortunately, I didn’t verify the PCIe speed. I wish I had checked, now I’m stuck until tomorrow.

they are working traces, that's what I see from the image. Probably located toward the rear of the slot, so it should be PCI-E 3.0 x8, offering about half the bandwidth. it should still function well for any card that supports it.

Could it be resolved? Also, it shouldn't break down at all, correct? Thanks.

it won't get any worse, right? the issue is they're differential pairs—both very small and precisely matched in length. Any fix would alter the length and create noise, making it hard to maintain tolerances without causing problems. honestly, if it's just an 8%, it's not a big deal.

As an update, the GPU started up after the thermal paste was applied and is functioning properly, though it’s still capped at x8 maximum speed. A professional technician recently replaced my card and assured me he could resolve the issue, so hoping for the best. He also resolved the fan running at full capacity continuously. I might consider selling the card afterward. EDIT: Success! The problem was fixed and it’s now operating at x16 speed. Amazing work!
