A prequel remains an option, though they've included some Mako driving clips and a human character in N7 armor. They mention it could take place during Shepard's era—even if not centered on him—possibly tied to the Contact War. I believe it might focus on a galaxy after the Destroy event, which would align with Bioware's confirmation that Shepard survives the final ending. A sequel could still fit within Shepard's timeline. The ME3 multiplayer is actually quite enjoyable, but I wish they wouldn't force it back into singleplayer like with the readiness rating.

I truly wish they could craft something different from the usual dramatic "save the world" narrative this time. Let’s aim for a more intimate, centered story instead of the broad, repetitive arcs seen in many games. Because honestly, the current series feels quite repetitive across titles like Mass Effect 2, ME3, Dragon Age Origins, DAY of Judgment, and others.

All three Mass Effect titles were excellent. The main concern is whether Bioware will follow the trend toward large, uninteresting open worlds. That approach isn’t aligned with either Bioware or Mass Effect.

I understand you're pointing out some issues with the current approach. A touch of fourth-wall awareness could help here. Producing a cut scene isn't inexpensive, especially when we're talking about the quality and length of scenes we'd expect from this project. Determining the final outcome would have been better handled earlier, rather than leaving decisions to later stages. An arbitrary choice made during my time in ME2 would likely have sparked strong reactions from fans. In reality, they weren't entirely without merit—your choices in ME3 affected your path in ME2 and limited what you could achieve.

The doctors departed, most of the talent went, and the core spirit of the company was lost during the EA takeover. It’s similar to what happened with Infinity Ward—eventually we should have the right to rename it clearly, like "Bioware's remnants," so it’s obvious we won’t get back the old games.

Just wish it didn’t include the savegame import and started from scratch. I really messed up Minecraft 3 with the ending choice.

The scene cost a reasonable amount to produce. We aimed for realistic visuals and effects rather than flashy ones, focusing on a clear narrative resolution.
