The BIOS isn't showing up on the screen?
I recently assembled a gaming PC and connected my monitor to the GPU's HDMI port, but it isn't showing the BIOS. Do you know how to resolve this issue?
Are you checking if the BIOS is current, since an outdated one might prevent the CPU from functioning properly?
Would receiving the components automatically ensure the BIOS is current?
Not always, if something has been lying on a shelf for a while it might change.
You're suggesting it functions properly but you're not observing the BIOS splash screen during startup. Quick boot could be active. Refer to your motherboard manual for the correct key to enter BIOS, then restart your PC and repeatedly press that key until the system powers back on.
Will try this out.
I have put all the components in the case and everything is assembled. After turning on the PSU, all parts light up and show they are getting power. However, when I connect the GPU to the monitor via HDMI, it doesn’t display the BIOS screen.
I’m also curious if installing Windows onto the PC and checking the GPU there would be effective. Would putting Windows on a system with a faulty GPU cause any harm?
