I adjusted the CPU fan settings in the BIOS to "silent" but noticed it was still noisy. I revisited the BIOS, turned off temperature protection, and manually set the fan curve. Despite these changes, the fan kept running aggressively, aiming to keep temperatures below 60°C—unexpected for a Ryzen 5600. It seems the issue lies in the settings or hardware interaction. The fan is connected via 'CPU_FAN' on the motherboard, but no software is installed and there are no hubs attached. Why does it behave this way?

You're adjusting the fan speed incorrectly, which causes the machine to overheat even when not in use. The processor needs proper cooling to perform well.
