Hey there. I've worked with Screenflow on my MacBook for three years now—really enjoyed it and never faced any issues. After switching to a gaming PC, I tried using Windows Movie Maker for editing. It was functional but not ideal. For YouTube outtakes, I needed to add video overlays, which WMM couldn't handle well. Eventually, Camtasia became my go-to; it works similarly to Screenflow and is quite user-friendly. However, it tends to crash during the first render and freeze at 100% on the second, which isn’t great. What software are you using? Any recommendations, especially free options? Sony Vegas Pro 13 and Premier Pro stand out as top choices. After Effects works well for short clips, while Lightworks isn’t as strong and tougher to master, though it’s free.

Adobe Premiere CC and Sony Vegas 13 are ideal for cutting and assembling clips. After Effects is perfect for advanced compositing and complex edits.
