I was testing the battlefield mode and it crashed immediately, returning to the desktop with the error message "battlefield has stopped working." I've tried all possible fixes, regardless of whether it's single-player or multiplayer. It occurred with both games and also on CrysPis and Minecraft. Here’s what I attempted: reduced graphics to medium, adjusted GPU usage to 70%, updated BIOS and graphics card drivers, underclocked the GPU, checked temperatures (GPU 50-60, CPU 40-50), ran Prime95 and FurBench for 30 minutes, updated Punkbuster, reinstalled battlefield, cleared the system, turned off unnecessary processes, ran a RAM diagnostic, disabled audio, vacuumed the PC, drank water to stay cool on a hot day, switched OS from Windows 7 to Windows 8 (considered the worst), uninstalled cloud services, and even cleaned with a vacuum. I also tried disabling audio and updating my specs (CPU 6100, GPU 7770, HDD 2TB SATA, Alpine 500W, Gigabyte GA-78LMT, USB3). I’m serious about helping—please let me know what works tomorrow. If it’s my hard drive, I’ll run a defrag and update if needed. Oh, and I almost forgot!
I've faced this problem repeatedly on Battlefield 3, and it's happened many times. Don't try to lower your system settings—it won't fix it. Based on what I've seen, it's likely a glitch that appears more often on certain servers. Because EA doesn't allow changes to the game files, there aren't many solutions available.
You’ve been through it all, facing rejection in every match. What’s your take?
Occasionally it would happen many times, sometimes not at all. I had to stop dealing with it for a while. It doesn’t happen in any other games I play. The main idea is to reinstall Windows, since it seems to occur in other titles as well.
. I need to try crysis again, i forgot if it did happen or not
Yeah, i have, but nothing, looks like ill will just have to live with it

If any part is responsible, it would likely be the GPU. A CPU or RAM problem usually causes a BSOD, not just a "stopped working" message.
