I’m not certain if this problem is connected to the operating system, but here’s what happened: After upgrading my PC, the older components were moved to a secondary machine that was turned into a server. At first, I tried running it on Linux, but maintenance became very difficult, so I changed to Windows. From a software perspective, everything functions properly. However, whenever I start my main computer, it sometimes restarts after a short time, even if the main PC is still active. I don’t want to remember shutting it down during idle periods, especially when I’m not using it much. I’ve disabled wake-on-LAN in the BIOS, yet this issue persists, and I’m unsure what else to try. The specifications for the old system are: CPU – Intel Core i7 8700K, Motherboard – GIGABYTE Aorus Gaming 7, RAM – 32 GB DDR4, GPU – Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Super. The new PC details are listed in my notes.

The clear issue is understanding how activating a single PC impacts another system. Wake-on-LAN is likely the only concept you’ve considered. I’d probably disconnect the network cable from the server to test whether that changes anything. This would either confirm or dismiss any wake-on-LAN activity.

I've already handled that. Taking out the network cable stops it from occurring. Definitely a network issue.

I may have solved the issue. Along side the wake-on-lan setting there's another setting called wake-on-magic-packet, which was enabled. If this was it, I'll mark this as fixed later.
