The backup file isn't found in your usual user directory.
I recently moved my PC from Windows 11 to Windows 10, backed up all files onto an external SSD, and reinstalled everything. When I tried to recover the backup, it placed its data in a separate user folder within C:/Users. Now my default user folder has two distinct sections: one for current files and another for old backups. Accessing the latter feels cumbersome since they’re isolated. Can I merge the backup contents back into the main Windows user directory? Would copying files directly from the backup folder to the default folder cause any issues with file structure?
