Hi, I'm using the Gigabyte B450M-DS3H motherboard. I'm having trouble using the Gigabyte RGB FUSION app to manage my RGB fans through its LED_CPU header. After downloading the app, I don't see basic, advanced, or intelligent settings available. However, I can still control the graphics card's RGB lighting. When I contacted Gigabyte support, they explained that this model lacks an MCU (chipset), which prevents the app from controlling the CPU_LED port. They suggested changing the fan colors via BIOS instead. Thank you for your help! You can find the manual and a screenshot of the app here: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B45...-rev-10#kf

It doesn't clarify why basic, advanced, and excellent choices aren't visible in RGB Fusion. It also doesn't address why the Gigabyte site claims B450M-DS3H supports RGB Fusion. I can manage RGB through the controller connected via the PC case or BIOS, but with limited options I prefer using Fusion. I've included the motherboard manual as well.

They don't show your motherboard under B450 supported devices in the app. It's possible the brand name "RGB fusion" refers to a setting in the BIOS/UEFI that controls RGB lighting, which might be labeled as "fusion rgb." I'm not sure, but it could relate to the chip mentioned for support. My advice is to check if "fusion rgb" is a different app or feature and see how it connects to your hardware.

I just checked your motherboard manual—it mentions Fusion in the BIOS/UEFI instructions. That might seem a bit misleading, but it does cover everything you need to set up BIOS options for your fans, RGB strips, and GPU apps.

And clicking twice will take you to more details about fusion on their recommended motherboard page https://www.gigabyte.com/mb/rgb/Product as well as their compatible LED strips, fans, and RAM sticks https://www.gigabyte.com/mb/rgb/ready. It looks like the marketing is questionable, but it seems your best approach is adjusting BIOS settings rather than using the app.

You need to access the motherboard RGB configuration, click on the second RGB/RED line, then select the right options such as static. After that, pick a color and you're good to go! This was done using a non-computer RGB strip connected via wall plug and IR remote.

These images appear to be from your own B450M-DS3H. I wasn’t looking them up online. I’m considering RGB accessories, but I’d rather avoid digging through the BIOS myself.

I'm facing the same issue with my AIO connected to the M.2 LED pin. It seems the LED is working, but I'm limited to just one effect and a few color options. My motherboard is a Gigabyte B450M gaming model. I'm curious if using an RGB hub would give me more choices compared to the RGB Fusion software.
