It did remove itself completely. Now I'm trying to understand why it kept recording despite no screen capture being taken.

To ensure you're not affected by any kind of spyware, I recommend trying these steps:
1- Check the application's settings for auto-capture or event-based recording options that might start unintentionally.
2- Run an online scan using a trusted tool such as the one provided by Trend Micro.

I understand it's been over six months since this issue was resolved, yet I managed to pinpoint the reason these videos keep appearing. I altered the key to begin recording using MSI Afterburner and kept pressing that button by mistake, causing extensive recordings to consume storage space on my drive.
