Initially, I observed this issue within Division 2 and initially attributed it to a problem with the game itself. However, I’ve encountered this recurring behavior consistently across Assassin's Creed and several other titles – even within Matrix Path Of Neo!. When I turn my attention away from non-player characters, their voices become inaudible.
I’ve diligently investigated potential solutions by examining my audio settings, confirming that they are configured to Stereo and that I’ve reduced the quality to 15-bit DVD Quality. Despite these adjustments, the problem continues unabated.
My audio setup is relatively straightforward, consisting of two speakers and a single primary speaker. Do you have any suggestions that might resolve this?
Could you please specify the current parameters for your game’s sound configuration?
Unfortunately, *Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II* lacks dedicated audio controls; *The Matrix* simply offers volume adjustments. *Division 2*, conversely, defaults to television speaker output. However, this issue appears to be a recurring problem across numerous titles utilizing diverse game engines. Consequently, I suspect the root cause lies within Windows itself—perhaps connected to DirectX or a similar system component.
