I just received an ASUS X570-Plus and connected it to the setup. Pressing the PSU power switch activated the ambient lights, but when I tried the front power button nothing happened. I even attempted a jump and had no success. I only installed one stick of RAM and used the default GPU settings. I'm trying to confirm if others have faced the same issue and what they did to resolve it. I plan to swap the memory tomorrow to test further, since I don't see any other problems.
Installed the Ryzen 7 3800X with a Vengeance LPX 16GB RAM setup.
I haven't installed the GPU yet; I'm just trying to get it working first before adding it. Most motherboards include an internal GPU for BIOS checks, and I can't even turn it on to reset the CMOS.
Quote the details for clarity. Motherboards lack built-in graphics, while Intel CPUs include them, except for the R5 3400G. If it’s not that model, try adding a GPU and see if the problem resolves.
The motherboard doesn't include built-in graphics. The CPU does have one. If the CPU lacks "g" or "ge," it means it doesn't have integrated graphics.
Setting up a functional GPU should resolve the issue, but if it doesn’t, try using the included speaker on your motherboard. Let us know how many times it beeps at you. If you installed the speaker immediately, I’d guess it would give five beeps saying “no GPU.”
