I recently purchased a 4090 to install in my x570/5800x setup, but after assembling the computer, it didn’t receive any power. At first, I suspected the new PSU was faulty, but after taking it to a repair shop, everything worked properly. It turned out the issue was with the motherboard, which was functioning well with a 2080 Ti.

I upgraded the PSU and GPU, yet the system remained unresponsive. Eventually, I replaced the motherboard, CPU, and RAM, planning a full rebuild. This time, instead of a dead board, I noticed some signs of life.

The only lights that activated were the small RGB indicators on the TUF logo. There were no QLED troubleshooting lights, beeps, fan noise, or any other signals. I’ve been working on it for hours, re-seating cables, checking RAM, and testing the GPU. Anyone know what’s happening?

The returned mobo was replaced successfully, and everything is functioning properly now. The original x570 TUF had a problem, possibly due to my actions. The 4090 fit well, but I accidentally damaged part of the mobo, which likely caused the boot issue. After cleaning up the scratch, I sent it in for an RMA and they replaced it without any questions, which is a good sign.
