Over the past weeks of research, I’ve been puzzled... some sources say 32GB, others claim 16GB. This machine has only 8GB of RAM permanently soldered to the motherboard, leaving just one DIMM slot. I bought a 32GB module that matches the speed and CL specs, but when I install it and power on, I keep seeing blue screens with various error codes. Interestingly, it functions fine in safe mode and BIOS. A memory test took several hours and gave perfect results. A gamer friend suggested reinstalling Windows, but that doesn’t seem right for me. I’m feeling stuck both mentally and technically—my only upgrade is a $100 RAM module, which I can’t use. Please help me avoid making more mistakes.
