Hey there! I just switched from an i5 4690k to a Ryzen 5 5600X and picked the ASUS ROG Strix B550F gaming Wi-Fi II motherboard. When I tried connecting my Philips SHP9500 iPod, I noticed no sound at all—whether it was plugged into the rear panel jack or the front panel jack on my PC. I thought maybe the headset was faulty, so I tried using it on my laptop, which worked fine. Now I’m not sure what to do next.
First, confirm you have the drivers installed. I will download them straight from ASUS.
I understand the delay, the problem has been fixed. It looks like there was an issue with the drivers from ASUS. I’ve performed a new Windows installation without adding the ASUS audio drivers, and the rear and front panel audio ports are now functioning properly.
