I recently assembled a new computer equipped with a Ryzen 9 7900x and a B650A motherboard. I updated the BIOS to the latest version, but now I can’t load Windows widows from the USB drive where I stored the media tool. This is my second build, the first one worked perfectly.

Ryzen9 7900x
B650A
DDR5 5600 2x32 G. Skill Ram

The USB appears to be listed as the boot device, yet every time I save and exit it returns to the BIOS screen instead of opening Windows setup. No Windows installation screen shows up. The BIOS was reset after several configuration attempts. Appreciate your assistance.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Which Windows version are you attempting to set up? Where did you obtain the installer for your operating system? You may wish to recreate the bootable USB installer, then in the Boot menu (Save & Exit), choose the drive to override—this option should appear under Boot Override. This will trigger a reboot, allowing you to proceed with the installation.

Thank you! Also appreciated for your response!
I’m using Bios 2412.
I downloaded the installer from Microsoft.com, selecting the second option for Windows 11 installation media.
I’ve experimented with two different USB drives. The one from last week’s build worked fine, but I used a new USB recently. I inserted the media on the new drive a few times, then moved it to the old USB, which also worked.
On the boot menu, the USB appears under "Boot Menu" and is listed as option #1 with a dropdown. It’s also shown on the main BIOS page under boot priority. The only entry besides "Disabled" is PNY USB 2.0. When I select it in Boot Override, the screen goes black for about a second before returning to the same display.
I’ve connected the USB to at least two USB ports and have a WD Black 2T M.2 installed.
There’s no GPU installed. I do have one, but it won’t boot when placed in the PCI slot (issue #2 unless you suspect a connection problem).

I've encountered the same problem before, have you discovered a fix? We all have comparable setups and repeated the same actions.
