The Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero may be excessive for a 5900X depending on your needs.
Hello everyone, the title already gives a good idea. I was checking out the Asus ROG STRIX X570 Gaming-E but then noticed the VIII Dark hero. I appreciate the number of USB ports, especially for future needs I haven’t thought about. I’m also planning to overclock my 5900X, though I heard the single-core boost might drop in that scenario. Should I try overclocking during heavy tasks and reset for games, or is there another approach? I just want to know if it’s worth the extra 130 euros in the long run. The Gaming-e model is about two years old now, so do you think there’s a board between the Dark hero and the Gaming-E? Thanks for your advice ahead!
I thought a reply like that would make sense. I’ll look at a few more options and see if I can explain why it’s worth the extra cost.
Sure, I understand. I remember the solution before and was curious if anyone noticed any unique trait the Dark hero possesses that made it stand out. For now, I’ll consider my choices carefully. Fixing the USB problem might be easiest by purchasing a hub.
