Hello everyone, the title already gives a good idea. I was checking out the Asus ROG STRIX X570 Gaming-E but then noticed the VIII Dark hero. I appreciate the number of USB ports, especially for future needs I haven’t thought about. I’m also planning to overclock my 5900X, though I heard the single-core boost might drop in that scenario. Should I try overclocking during heavy tasks and reset for games, or is there another approach? I just want to know if it’s worth the extra 130 euros in the long run. The Gaming-e model is about two years old now, so do you think there’s a board between the Dark hero and the Gaming-E? Thanks for your advice ahead!

It means you're considering a board in the $200-300 range as adequate, but an enthusiast model just justifies the extra cost. If you need those features, then investing is worthwhile.

Yeah, sorry, but there's really not more that can be said. It's the same with any enthusiast level product. It's always overkill, but that's why the enthusiasts want it.
