Observe that users should mention others to confirm a reply. Was the GPU checked for being quite outdated and unsupported by updates?

You're asking about the GPU performance on your previous setup with an i5 3570K and a Z77 Extreme.

The GPU receives software updates regularly, which means it's fine as long as you don't require its performance for current tasks. Try running the GPU on a different device. Also, look for any diagnostic lights that are showing.

I'm struggling with low LED brightness due to ASF issues and don't have another GPU. I'm just playing Minecraft on an i5 and achieving around 600 FPS, so it seems fine for me.

The latest ASUS BIOS came out in March, and your CPU arrived in April. That means you might need to wait for an updated BIOS version if there are any compatibility issues.

On the manufacturer's support site, the 5500 model received BIOS updates starting from version 3211, which was launched in August.

You're experiencing a flashback to version 3211, but no video appears—could this be related to your GPU?

It seems the BIOS version 3211 is the earliest confirmed to work with the 5500, and any newer versions should also function. I didn’t assume it was related to the GPU; it could be something else entirely. There’s a forum thread offering advice for handling a 'no POST' issue, which might help if you’re stuck. If that doesn’t resolve it, feel free to reach out to @emosun—I can only share what I know. Good luck!
