Run it with admin privileges. Consider installing directly onto a drive instead of using program files, as the latter can block older Windows versions. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, reach out to ASUS support.

I just received mine too (MG248Q). It’s the same issue—it begins and then shows at the bottom for a few seconds. I’m really confused about how to fix it!

I realized I wasn’t aware that pressing the red button would give the same result. That means I won’t be upset if you don’t discover the issue (though it would be great to know).
