Hi everyone. I recently purchased my first amd ryzen system replaceing my intel x58 computer. I bought a asus x470 prime pro motherboard 16gbs of trident z rgb 3,000mhz ram And a amd ryzen 1600x. I am still waiting for my parts to arrive but then noticed people talking about all the spd corruption with ryzen and g.skill or arua software. I figure it's been 2 years ago I'm sure this has been fixed but I would like to be sure I'd hate for my first new modern computer experience to be I killed my ram haha. Thanks for reading my post.

I believe the corruption issues with SPD were mostly resolved on x99 platforms and aren't a current concern. Avoid installing Aura software or g.skill. Use the Armory Crate from ASUS instead.
