I've already attempted several solutions. Clearing and resetting the CMOS didn't help, and changing SATA ports or cables also didn't resolve the issue. Everything seems to function normally. Running a 3820 with 16GB DDR3 RAM at 1600 MHz, with the latest BIOS version 3.70 installed, works perfectly on my other test bench and even on an LGA775 platform. The power supply is stable, and the NH-D14 cools the CPU effectively while maintaining good contact under pressure. Occasionally the BIOS displays "time and date not set," so I adjusted them and restarted the PC to get back into the correct BIOS. The boot drive appears as a storage device in the BIOS but isn't recognized as a boot device. I've tried both IDE and AHCI modes, but nothing worked. If anyone has suggestions, I appreciate any help at this stage.
I found the solution while working through it. There was a toggle marked as disabled that stopped booting from SATA3 drives. It was tucked away in a submenu of another setting. I’ll note this for others who might face the same problem, but feel free to ignore it.
