The Asrock X470 master sli/ac is problematic for overclocking.
You have an R 2600X with an Asrock X470 master SL/AC setup. It seems you can overclock the motherboard, but stability remains a concern. I found videos for other Asrock boards showing how to increase the LLC and SOC values, though the instructions aren’t very clear. The voltage list includes: VTT_DDR at 2.50V_PROM with +1.8V, VDDP at 1.05V_PROM, and VPPM. I’m not familiar with this new board or those voltages, so I’m unsure what adjustments to make.
I would suggest using Ryzen Master if you're not comfortable with BIOS adjustments for an overclock. In reality, attempting these changes without proper knowledge can be risky. The configurations on your hardware will also differ due to the board's unstable power supply.
What RAM models are you employing?
Yes, I'm using the xmp 2.0 profile for my RAM. I plan to look up some tutorials on Ryzen Master and then give it a shot. I notice my new configuration tends to freeze unexpectedly, especially when playing Overwatch at 180 fps with a 70-core GPU. The screen freezes at 60Hz, and I can't see the CPU temperature, but it's within normal range. My monitor is a TV (Westinghouse 40), so the refresh rate is 60Hz. Would this increase to 200 fps cause another freeze?
