Your machine has been automatically restarting from hibernation for several months now. For a long time, you couldn't determine the cause until someone suggested checking the CMD command for recent wake-up details. When you ran it, the result consistently showed ASMedia USB3.1 eXtensible Host Controller. You've searched extensively, updated drivers for this and other controllers, but no improvement. Could anyone suggest a fix? P.S. You confirmed the option to prevent the device from waking the computer.

The BIOS should include an option to enable wake-up via USB connection.

Check the BIOS menu for the boot order or system settings section specific to the Asus 170 board. It might be listed under boot configuration or advanced options.

You're unsure about locating something in your BIOS. (This could vary with the BIOS release) Check the manual for your motherboard if you need immediate guidance.

Your worry is understandable. Some solutions can block mouse movements or keystrokes needed to wake the system. You should verify the feature’s impact on your setup.
