All adjustments reached their limits, yet the game appears somewhat distorted, especially at distances over three meters. It seems the visuals are degrading significantly. There’s no option to correct this issue, making the experience quite poor.

Have you activated FSAA? It will cause things to appear very blurry shortly.

It seems there might be an issue with the depth of field settings—perhaps adjusting them could improve realism. I don’t have prior experience playing ARK, but if DOF is enabled, there might be a way to fix it.

I'll give it a shot. What do you mean by rendering scale or something similar?

adjust the settings, experiment with sliders, spot the right balance, then remove the problematic element.

ARK's range is poor for some items, making it hard to spot my base beyond about 50 feet.

I don’t enjoy ARK, but I engage with other titles that use rendering scale. I can explain that anything under 100% results in a blurry or lower-resolution display, since that’s the optimization setting being applied to maintain frame rate.

Start the game using -sm4. The blur seems to result from a post-processing effect; using -sm4 may terminate it and restore performance.

Adjust rendering to maximum scale and lower AA settings for sharper results.

Not required to be the highest value; in some games exceeding 100% means rendering beyond your screen's resolution and then scaling it down, which can cause major performance drops. Aim for 100% reflects your native resolution or the setting you're using.
