My graphics card is a GTX 1070 and my processor is an Intel Core i7, yet I experience significant lag in Apex Legends, to the point where my movements are sluggish. What steps can I take to improve this? However, I perform well in games such as Fortnite without encountering similar issues.

Update your device drivers, and consider applying a motherboard firmware revision as well.

Updating your drivers is likely the only solution. I experienced this issue from the very first day, and after installing the latest drivers, it worked perfectly.

Does frame rate delay affect the stuttering in Apex Legends? The game's connection system is unfortunately quite poor.

My frame rate is stable. However, I'm currently updating my graphics driver to see if that resolves the issue.
okay

Likely, the online connection is exceptionally poor.

I'm experiencing no problems playing Apex Legends, and neither have popular streamers such as Seagull (or timthetatman, who was playing alongside him) nor xQc. My system—an i5-9600K processor running at 3.7 GHz (with a turbo boost up to 4.6 GHz) and an EVGA GeForce RTX 2070, paired with 16 GB of DDR4 memory at 3000 MHz—performs well. I'm currently utilizing Nvidia’s drivers version 417.71, preferring to remain with a stable version rather than adopting more recent updates until I eventually replace my hardware.
