I'm facing an issue with my Aorus GA-AX370-Gaming 5 board. It won't display when connected via DisplayPort to a monitor, but works with the graphics card when unplugged. Once BIOS is active, it fails to output anything. Integrated graphics function properly through HDMI. I've confirmed the RAM and GPU work on another system. You can watch my recording here - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1oeoWOlQ...p=drivesdk
When the screen shows GPU display ports all the way up to Windows loading, it’s likely a driver problem. Switching off integrated graphics and using DDU to remove the GPU display drivers can help. After restarting, reinstall the card and then update the GPU drivers in Windows.
The graphics card isn't producing any output, but the motherboard remains stuck on post code 00. Removing the DisplayPort cable from the GPU causes it to switch between several post codes and then settle on AB, indicating it's in the BIOS. Plugging the cable back in after turning on the PC and occasionally disconnecting it before powering up sometimes allows the output to work through the GPU's DisplayPort.
Is your GPU missing additional display connections? It should support more than a single DP output. Have you only tested one port or is the behavior consistent across all DP ports? Did you attempt a CMOS reset on the motherboard? Have you checked another PCIe slot on your motherboard?
The graphics card only shows four display ports. I've tested all four and placed it in every PCIE slot without any improvement. I also performed a CMOS reset and updated the BIOS, but nothing changed.
The GPU functions on another setup? Your description suggests the hardware might be failing. Or does it operate similarly across various computers? Have you checked with a different cable? If the card works on another machine, did you use identical monitors and DP cables during testing? It seems the only way to run this system without the card is through HDMI and built-in graphics. Using a different monitor or cable when testing could point to the DP cable as the issue. I'm trying to eliminate all possibilities.
I also tried a different DP cable and it functioned properly now. Appreciate the assistance.
