It's serious. I purchased an Anbernic RG556 console from a third-party seller on Aliexpress to cut costs. It functioned well for three weeks before the memory failed. I contacted the manufacturer, accepted my losses, and bought a replacement. Now I'm facing another issue—my screen shows nothing unless it's kept in a very cold environment near 0°C. Everything else works fine; the touch still responds normally. When the display eventually comes back online, it freezes or crashes the image. Pressing the power button to shut it down doesn't restore it, and it only displays a single white line for a brief moment before staying static. It's an AMOLED screen, so this seems like an unusual problem. Anyone else experienced something similar?

I found it by carefully reviewing the details and cross-checking the information.

It's simple actually. I believed the new MB wouldn't function after swapping it in, and the console stayed on the window even with it open. It was quite late that night when I checked again. A few hours later it worked briefly, and I began testing to figure out what went wrong.

These unusual conditions can cause minor shifts in the form and dimensions of connectors and cables. If they aren't correctly positioned or fully joined, this small variation may prevent pins from making a solid contact, leading to unstable signals or complete loss of connection.

Yes, you can use a multimeter to verify the readings.

Yes, you can verify conductivity by testing the pins or voltage outputs to confirm power delivery, but you’d likely need a datasheet to validate the values.

I've already attempted that. The multimeter broke, so I could only test connections and everything looked fine, but I'm not an electronics expert, so my understanding is pretty limited. Plus, I have a pretty poor idea about using the oven, knowing how completely off that would be.

It’s not the worst option, though I lack sufficient electrical expertise to assist with this. Do you have someone who can review it?
