Hey there, just got a custom PC from CyberPower and was really pumped until I powered it on. It seems like my CPU is stuck at 550MHz no matter what I do. I updated all the drivers, set power to high performance, and even reset the BIOS back to defaults. I’m eager to start gaming but won’t get any help from CyberPower until Monday. I’m hoping someone can spot a fix for me. Here are my specs: AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 3.6GHz, 6-core CPU, Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM, ATX motherboard, Crucial Ballistix memory, Western Digital Blue SN550 500GB M.2, and a GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER 8GB. I’ve also tested it to see if that helps.
The system indicates a low CPU voltage and high temperatures. To address this, navigate to Precision Boost > Overdrive > Advanced. The current temperature threshold is being monitored during this process.
I have reinitialized the BIOS both internally and on the motherboard. All adjustments were set to auto mode when checking precision boost. It seems there might be an issue with the hardware. Your CPU fan and other components seem functional. Please include another screenshot for further guidance.
You may need to access the BIOS settings and input the voltage, multiplier, and bus speed yourself. The same CPU is being used, so these values come from my CPU-Z report. When I first configured this, I had to adjust core voltage and multiplier to reach the desired setting.
