Hello, I experienced a black screen during a YouTube video, even though there was no video. This issue occurred before when my GPU failed and a reboot fixed it. This time, rebooting didn’t help and I had no display output. I swapped my GPU for an older Radeon HD 4800, which restored video functionality. I verified everything in my BIOS was correct. I tried the 6900XT again but still got no output. To confirm if the GPU was the problem, I tested it on a friend’s system with a similar setup—his had video and it worked fine. He also used a 6900XT, which didn’t display anything. I suspect the power supply might not be delivering enough power for a heavy card like the 6900XT, but enough for a smaller one like the HD 4800. I checked the power cables with a multimeter and they all measured properly. Can you help me figure out what’s going on? Is there an issue with the motherboard or elsewhere in my system?

The 750W power supply should suffice for running your system under full load. Particularly when paired with a 5600X One thing you did not specify, do you notice the BIOS screen during startup? If not, this isn't related to a driver issue. You might want to try clearing the CMOS or switching to a different port for your video cable—use DP for HDMI and vice versa. Good luck!
Thanks, it seems to function now. I reset the CMOS and swapped in the older GPU since the 6900 didn’t work. It started up but the screen was set to 1080p instead of the usual 720p. After switching back to the 6900, everything is working properly again.
Occasionally the CMOS storage gets damaged, and resetting it brings back the original settings without issues
