Did you remove or reinstall AMD overdrive? The last time I did that it increased the speed to 4.5 ghz, I'll try it again.

I wasn't aware you had a non-Kaveri processor—overclocking won't work. You should consider a 7850k or another FM2 CPU with 'k' at the end.
