Hello, I'm having trouble overclocking my AMD A10 7800 with a Radeon R7. The system shows a red warning that a system restart is needed to apply the settings, and the CPU multiplier doesn't change. I also can't make any adjustments in Overdrive mode.

What are the reasons for not increasing the processor speed beyond its maximum in BIOS?

Why not increase performance via BIOS settings? There are no OC options or video guides available for OC.

This guide is aimed at beginners who want to overclock their systems. It covers a video tutorial found online. Remember to disable the turbo core when using this method. While the creator doesn't suggest changing the voltage, it's generally safe as long as it stays within a reasonable range. Since I'm new to AMD APUs, I don't know the best voltage settings yet—I've only worked with FX and Skylake CPUs. You might want to look for other reliable sources for safe voltages for AMD APUs.

This appears to be a useful reference.
The article suggests focusing mainly on adjusting the GPU's clock speed.

It seems you should only adjust the GPU clock speed. Do you know if it's possible to overclock the CPU?

Based on the appearance, the performance improvement won't be substantial. You might want to give it a shot, but for gaming purposes, overclocking the GPU of your APU is the better option.

It seems like the performance improvement won't be substantial. You might want to consider overclocking the GPU of your APU if you're planning to play games. I'm unable to adjust the bars even when turbo mode is disabled.
