I've noticed someone on Reddit mentioning the same problem with the G.SKILL kit I just got. I’m hoping the issue is limited to CL36 and that CL32 should work without problems. I’m also wondering if it’s related to the motherboard. I ordered an X670 from ASUS, assuming it was a trustworthy brand.

Every time someone encounters an issue online, it doesn’t necessarily mean the product is flawed. Concerns arise when the same problem recurs for various users. Remember, this service functions well, as many of us can confirm—just a bad memory on your first try. Probably that’s all.

It might just be how many people buy them over other brands but if anything, Asus AM5 boards also have me a little suspect.. we'll see. Asrock has been the real rockstar for AM5 as of late.

They're really making progress. I haven't built a PC in around ten years, but my last experience with an ASUS setup was top-notch.
