I've tried adjusting the AMD Catalyst controls overdrive on my Emaxx FM2 board with an A4 CPU, but after several attempts, I decided to reset all settings as if I hadn't used it. The issue is that my PC won't start at all. When I power it on, fans spin up, the USB DVD drive works, and the keyboard lights up (number lock, caps lock, and accel lock), yet it still doesn't boot. Could your motherboard be faulty or would a different method be needed besides replacing the CPU?

CountMike :
Consider trying to reset the BIOS/CMOS first.
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I've already done that—both removing the battery and shorting the CMOS jumper—but it hasn't helped. It worked once before. Then I turned off the PC as I had to run something and ended up resting it by shutting it down normally. The next time I powered it back on, it wouldn't work anymore. I attempted a CMOS reset too, but that didn't help either. Appreciate your advice again.
