I've been using an Nvidia 1080 for years and thought it was time for an upgrade. After installing an AMD 7900 XTX, my internet often drops whenever it's connected. Speedtest shows normal speeds, but I can't download or load pages. Switching back to my old graphics card works fine—my PC runs smoothly. I'm currently on a fresh Windows 11 with updated drivers and upgraded power supply, using three separate cables. Have others faced similar issues, or is this a new problem?

It seems unusual. Neither the card nor its driver should affect your internet connection. It might just be a temporary issue that happened around the time you changed cards. Try pinging your router's IP address after installation. If successful, test the DNS server's IP. Then verify host name resolution (like "nslookup "). If problems persist, switch to alternative DNS servers such as 1.1.1.1, 8.8.4.4, 8.8.8.8 or 9.9.9.9.

What motherboard you're using and its model for the 7900 XTX? You're concerned about possible electrical or physical interference with the WLAN card on your board, especially since the higher wattage and larger size of the 7900 XTX might affect power delivery to it.
