I'm looking for some advice here. I built my first computer in the early 2000s and have assembled many PCs and servers without any problems like this one. I understand it would be hard to convince someone unless I had a video. I managed to get my non-O/AMD 5600G running at high speeds on air, but I'm puzzled about why it works and how long it's been doing that. I used to play games on my 3700X and decided to try the 5600G for my home lab—it generally runs fine, though I noticed it would lock very hard sometimes and needed a manual restart. I installed HWMonitor and saw my CPU reaching impressive speeds. I'm unsure what to do next and would appreciate any guidance or clarification. I've attached four screenshots (from playing BF5) and a YouTube clip showing these extreme numbers. Bill S.

HWMonitor often gives incorrect clock speed readings, particularly for Ryzen processors. For accurate information, consult HWInfo or Ryzen Master.

21,332 MHz isn't a golden sample—it's a plutonium sample. Put the Pc in a box before you destroy us all! Or just grab hwinfo.
