The outdated Realtek audio drivers on the Asus site stem from inconsistent updates across different board models. The Strix and Prime boards received their drivers in May 2021, whereas the TUF boards were last updated in September 2020. Even older models like the 4-year-old Prime X370-Pro or B350 Strix still had drivers from 2021.
They're claiming the drivers on the download page aren't functioning properly. It seems sufficient with outdated versions if the previous ones are functional.
The Strix offers updated drivers enhancing system performance and compatibility with the latest Windows 10 release, whereas the TUF version lacks these improvements.
