Hello there. I own an MSI B550 Tomahawk Ryzen 5 5600x with 32 GB DDR 3200. Occasionally during boot into Windows, I hear a sound similar to an old digital alarm clock ringing—sometimes brief, sometimes longer. It works with any sound device. My GPU is XFX 6800 and temperatures are normal. It happens whether I'm playing a game or just watching YouTube. I checked for system alarms but couldn't find anything enabled. It's really frustrating trying to figure out what's causing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
The source of the sound is unclear; it could be from the speakers, the motherboard, or another component.
It appears a program is generating that noise. You need to locate it and disable it. While the sound plays, adjust the volume mixer to pinpoint its origin.
It's too haphazard and doesn't hold attention long enough to get the mixer opened.
it does not originate from the primary board, it appears only during startup in Windows and is irrelevant regardless of the audio input, whether from the built-in device or the GPU's HDMI connection.
