Initially I'm unsure if my old device is functional yet. I specifically chose the new model for its DisplayPort support instead of an outdated low-speed option. I initially ordered just one DVI-only card, but later discovered it was only DVI-only. Then I switched to a version with DisplayPort and HDMI, which I thought would be better before even receiving it.
If the display fails completely, it still functions. If the issue stems from incompatibility, it performed before, and I don’t have additional devices to test it on.
