The AIO should be installed facing east.

They are mounted directly at the points where the tubes enter from the CPU. If you switch to an O11 D Evo with the motherboard flipped upside down, the radiator and fans would face the opposite direction for airflow.

The key problem lies in how the radiator is set up. When the hoses are angled downward and below the pump, it pushes more air into the pump, cutting off its coolant supply. If you flip the hoses so they point upward above the pump, everything works fine.

I’ll place the block containing the tubes above the CPU to ensure they stay under the CPU even if the motherboard is flipped upside down.

I have mine off to the side. But as long as the tubes aren't being strained, that should be fine, and the radiator is installed above the pump/block.
