Hello After completing some upkeep on my recently acquired PC (reworking parts of the cable setup), I observed that when it powers on, the AIO pump would briefly spin before stopping completely. In my BIOS settings, the AIO_PUMP header shows 2470rpm, yet examining the tubing reveals noticeable foam and still water. The tube feels warm, and my CPU quickly climbs to 75°C without any interruption. I powered down the system before pushing it further. Any advice? The AIO (and the whole setup) was purchased second-hand a week ago. It functioned perfectly until now. I’m pretty sure I didn’t cause any issues by slightly adjusting the radiator for better access to fan headers on my motherboard. Specifics: i7 8700K, ASUS Strix z370-H Gaming, ASUS 1080, 8GB Corsair RM850X, Fractal Design C, Gamerstorm CAPTAIN 240mm white (possibly an X or EX variant; their site is a bit unclear).

There might just no longer be enough water in the loop. Not uncommon these leak a lot. Is the rad higher than the pump? If it's not working I'd really recommend you tossing it as this is an aio that is not if it will leak but when it will leak as it's quite shoddy quality.

Unless you're planning to take it apart, throw it away, or clean it thoroughly, it's best to simply purchase a new cooler. High-quality air coolers are available for around $50.

Throw in the AIO, grab a cooler air option. If you're not pushing the 8700k, a $20 cooler is enough.
