The Afterburner application failed to install properly.
I’m experiencing issues with Afterburner; it's not functioning as expected. The program fails to display icons in the start menu or on my desktop, and many of the monitoring metrics I need aren't appearing. While GPU usage is indicated, it consistently registers at an impossible 65000%. I would greatly value any advice or troubleshooting steps you might suggest.
I’ve attempted installation both with standard user permissions and as an administrator, and I've also tried using it with my NVIDIA graphics card instead of the Vega 11, but none of these efforts have resolved the problem.
My system specifications are: Ryzen5 2400G, 8GB of RAM, A320M-HDV motherboard, and Windows 10 version 1903.
Sincerely, Steve
Simply put, activating in-game display overlays requires a manual action.
I haven’t encountered this issue previously. I'm considering reinstalling the program or investigating whether any competing applications launching at startup could be causing the problem. If that doesn't resolve it, I’ll run a scan for malicious software and examine potential system file errors.
For malware protection, I’m using Malwarebytes: https://www.malwarebytes.com/premium/. To check for corrupted system files, I’ll use SFC – please follow the instructions precisely: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help...le-checker.
Currently, I'm utilizing Windows 10 version 1903 with all current updates and Afterburner functions correctly.
