The advanced mode in Civ 6 is not functioning properly.
I frequently attempt to generate a map and save it in advanced mode, even without altering any advanced settings. The game consistently fails to load when that map is used for a new game, no matter if I’m using the complete mod pack, only official expansions, or nothing at all. I can also create maps in basic mode and load games without issues. Although I’ve used advanced mode before without problems even with many mods, I’m unsure if this issue has changed or if it’s still resolvable. Anyone here with advice would be helpful?
Steam usually includes a code integrity verification or similar process, which might be useful. It tends to be slow. They also provide numerous tips and guidance for troubleshooting issues with their games. I think I remember a [r] click being related to it.
