I believe the R3 1200AF is essentially a lower-speed version of the R3 2300X, functioning more like a 2200G without an integrated GPU, with enhanced L3 cache and higher clock speeds. There’s no evidence found suggesting it received an iGPU or was designed to support one.
I own some budget-grade chips that don’t perform well. A 4790K quad-core will likely outperform a Ryzen 3 1200, Ryzen Athlon, or 3000G. It’s not just about thread count; for low-end boards we also need to consider low clock speeds and lower IPC.
