The issue arose due to a server setting directing traffic to kromstars.ddns.net. Check the server configuration for any references to that domain.

I configured the domain forest as kromstars.ddns.net, yet whenever I try to access the domain controller on another machine it still shows that error.

I noticed you haven't set the IP address of the domain controller as the DNS server for this machine. It's possible the DNS you're using doesn't resolve kromstars' IP, causing the issue. Launch a command prompt and execute "ipconfig /flushdns" to clear the cache. Then attempt to reconnect to the domain again.
