GPU isn't really important in Minecraft since it mainly runs on the CPU (16x16 pixels). For basic vanilla gameplay at low settings, you should see about 30 frames per second. Avoid heavy modding unless you're comfortable with it.

It wouldn't be a good fit for Minecraft on Dual-Core CPUs, as it mainly limits performance to the first core. It performs better than the A6-6420K, but unless you need more power, it might not significantly improve your gameplay. Consider upgrading if possible.
